Report

Heriot-Watt is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all students and staff. Valuing and respecting every member of the university community is one of our key values, though we know that issues can arise.

Report + Support gives staff and students the ability to report acts of misconduct that they have may have experienced or witnessed, or concerns related to mental health and wellbeing.

There are a number of support resources available to guide you through the reporting process, or simply provide information and advice on a number of issues. Reporting any concerns or incidents may help to prevent something similar happening in future. All reports are treated confidentially.

Reporting takes a few minutes.

Tell us what happened. A member of the University will be in touch with you within five working days, though we will aim to provide more prompt responses to immediate issues.

Tell us anonymously and may not get a response but information is used to identify and address trends. However, we do encourage you to speak to someone in the University about your concerns.

Reports are confidential and only passed onto relevant staff on a strictly need-to-know basis.
